Glossary error judgment

Definition of error judgment

error judgment
1.  The percentage of error in communication that the fax will accept. If the error judgment is set to 5% the machine will terminate the communication if the errors are determined to be grater than 5%. Errors are usually measured by lines. These lines are not a line of print, but are probably about 1/10th the height of a normal character.
